MPM is proud to be supporting Victory Leisure Homes in the development of a new side-entry shower pod concept for future lodge ranges.
The project represents the latest stage in the ongoing collaboration between the two businesses, combining Victory’s product vision with MPM’s GRP manufacturing and design-for-manufacture expertise to create a unique solution tailored to the leisure home market.
Designed to maximise otherwise underused space within the lodge layout, the new side-entry pod introduces a premium bathroom experience whilst maintaining the practical production and durability benefits associated with GRP manufacturing.
Working closely with Victory’s team, MPM produced the CAD design in-house, helping bring the concept from initial idea through to a manufacturable product solution. The project has also pushed tooling and manufacturing processes in new directions, with the geometry and layout presenting exciting technical challenges throughout development.
The result is a distinctive pod design that supports both functionality and aesthetics, whilst aligning with the evolving expectations of the lodge and staycation market.
The development is also expected to influence future product ranges within Prestige Homeseeker, Victory’s sister company, as the wider group continues to explore innovative bathroom solutions across premium leisure accommodation.
Beyond the product itself, the project highlights the continued growth of the partnership between Victory Leisure Homes and MPM. The introduction of the new pod solution is set to significantly expand MPM’s provision into Victory’s product range, reinforcing the value of early collaboration between design, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
By involving composites expertise early in the development process, both teams have been able to create a solution that not only looks premium but is also engineered for repeatable, scalable manufacture.
